Iran-to-send-monkey-into-spA MONKEY is to be sent into space by Iran – sparking massive international nuclear fears.

The launch of the animal, in August, will confirm to the world Iran's advanced missile capability.

Just yesterday the rogue nation sent a missile into space to deploy a Rassad-1 spy satellite.

And experts fear Iran's advanced rocketry program could be hooked-up to the nation's nuclear program with major implications for global security.

Iran's official spokesman for its space programme HAMID FAZELI said: “The Kavoshgar-5 rocket will be launched during the month of Mordad (July 23 to August 23) with a 285-kilogramme capsule carrying a monkey to an altitude of 74 miles.”

And President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has personally unveiled the space capsule designed to carry the monkey into space.

Fazeli said the monkey was a step towards placing an Iranian astronaut in orbit.
