Maddy-as-Dolly-PartonA MOTHER has sparked outrage after giving her four-year-old daughter fake boobs and a padded butt to create a the curvaceous figure of a woman 20 years her senior.

Lindsay Jackson has been pushing daughter Maddy as a contestant on US reality show Toddlers and Tiaras which uncovers the shocking world of child beauty pageants.

Mum Lindsay defended her efforts to give Maddy the busty look under a tight-fitting pink outfit saying: “To some people, it's over the top, to us it's just what happens. It's just normal.

“When she wears the fake boobs and the fake butt, it's just like an extra bonus.

“It's really funny when she comes out on stage and everyone thinks it's hysterical.”

Lindsay, who entered her first pageant contest when she was nine months old, was attempting to create a Dolly Parton look for her child and fitted her with detachable bust and butt enhancements, before performing live on stage.

Even Maddy's stylist on the show Michael Booth believes the attire is a step to far.

Interviewed backstage at the competition, where hundreds of young hopefuls battle it out to be crowned beauty queen, Michael said: “I wasn’t a big fan of the outfit with the boobs in it. She’s very young, but hopefully the judges will perceive it in good taste.”

The show has sparked outrage across America from parents who fear  it could influence youngsters to adopt similar behaviour.

Campaigners have even set up a Facebook group, 'Take "Toddlers And Tiaras" off the Air!'

One fan, Teresa Spence Bruce commented: 'I just saw a commercial where they strapped silicone breast to a 4-5 yr old absolutely disgusting.'

Despite criticism Lindsay says her daughter thoroughly enjoys her hobby and can stop competing at any time.
