autowedKATE Moss's wedding cost £500,000 ($800,000), Prince William and Kate Middelton's wedding cost £5 million ($8 million) and Prince Albert II of Monaco's cost around £6 million ($9.6 million).
But thanks to a new automated marriage vending machine doting couples can now tie the knot for the princely sum of £1 (or $1 US)!
Design company Concept Shed has produced the Autowed - an 8ft (2.4m) tall pink machine compared by the makers to "a parking meter mixed up with a Cadillac".
Any happy couple inserting a £1 or a $1 dollar get serenaded with a version of the Wedding March before being asked what type of union they would like.
Bride and groom have the option of pressing one on a keyboard for "I do" and two for "Escape" before being presented with a wedding receipt and two plastic rings in an egg-shaped capsule.
And orders have been flooding in.
The UK firm, based in Cornwall say orders for machines have come from as away as Russia and Brazil.
