Nicole Daedone says by practising ‘orgasmic meditation’ women can maintain a constant state of arousal for months, which she claims will help them attack life with new-found vigour.
The book called Slow Sex is subtitled The Art And Craft Of The Female Orgasm written by the San Francisco based sex therapist kicks of with the line ‘It’s a way that any man can bring out the orgasm in any woman, in just 15 minutes.’
She argues that while the male climax is pretty straightforward the female version is more elusive.
In a recent poll only 26 per cent of women said they had an orgasm in their last sexual encounter, compared to 76 per cent men.
But she says many women are 'incorrectly' looking for a wham-bam orgasm of the male variety whereas it's not that simple.
She says: “Orgasm is the body’s ability to receive and respond to pleasure. Pure and simple. Climax is often a part of orgasm, but it is not the sum total.”
But adds it gonna take some effort on the part of the fella.
She says: “Slow Sex requires dedication. Couples should set aside 45 minutes daily, over ten days, to get any sense of the benefits.”
The basic OM technique is as follows:
1.The man keeps his clothes on and the woman only removes her garments from her bottom half.
2.A nest of soft mats and cushions is constructed.
3.Stroking of the woman's genitalia and surrounding area takes place.
4.The lights stay on.
5.The woman clears her mind of prosaic daily concerns.
6.The man provides a running commentary
