FEMALE bodybuilders are guaranteed to turn heads wherever they go, as their bulging biceps challenge traditional views of what it is to be 'feminine'.
It takes determination as hard as the iron these ladies pump year after year, sometimes decade after decade, to sculpt the massively muscular physiques that grace the stages of female bodybuilding shows like the Ms Olympia and the Jan Tana.

Detractors of the sport, and especially the female version of it, sneer that all that hard-earned muscle 'turns to fat' and the women who scale back their training 'go to seed'.
